Beetle Box
Forms of insect fighting as a spectator sport are practiced in China, Japan, Vietnam and Thailand. I created a stop motion animation of a beetle boxing match taking place within an insect kingdom. I became interested in the set design for this project and after finishing the animation, I began collecting dead insects and arranging them in a stadium like boxing contest.
